Chhapra, September 28 (Udaipur Kiran News) – The first Amrit Bharat Express under the Northeast Railway is set to begin operations from Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi) on September 29. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary will flag off the inaugural special train (05133 Chhapra–Delhi) through video conferencing.

On the same day, another Amrit Bharat inauguration special train, 05587 Darbhanga–Madar (Ajmer), will also be introduced. Both are non-AC premium category trains, designed to provide world-class facilities at affordable fares.
🕓 Train Timings
The 05133 Chhapra–Anand Vihar Terminal special will depart Chhapra at 11:00 AM on September 29 and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:00 AM the next day, stopping at key stations including Siwan, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Kanpur Central, and Etawah.
Similarly, the 05587 Darbhanga–Madar special will depart Darbhanga at 11:00 AM on September 29 and arrive at Madar at 6:30 PM the next day, halting at Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Gorakhpur, Jaipur, and other major stations en route.
🚆 Train Composition
Each Amrit Bharat inauguration special train will have 22 coaches, including:
8 Sleeper coaches
11 General second-class coaches
1 Pantry car
2 LSLRD coaches
These trains aim to offer affordable travel, with fares below ₹500 per 1,000 km, ensuring a world-class experience for non-AC passengers, particularly middle-class travelers.

The push-pull technology improves speed, while semi-automatic couplers reduce jerks during coupling.
