NDA Leaders React to FIR Against Mamata Banerjee

Patna, June 13: NDA leaders have responded to claims made by rebel TMC MP Jagdish Chandra Barma Basunia regarding the FIR filed against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Bihar government minister Dilip Jaiswal stated that the atmosphere created by parties like Congress and TMC is leading to their downfall.

Commenting on the FIR against Banerjee, Jaiswal remarked that her time is up. He noted that the long-standing violence by TMC in West Bengal has culminated in a day of liberation for the state, as the election results were celebrated by many who felt freed from her dictatorship.

In response to statements made by expelled TMC member Riju Dutta, Jaiswal recalled that when TMC came to power, the entire Communist Party aligned with them. He suggested that the current situation in Bengal is reverting to that state, with people placing their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Regarding accusations from Meenakshi Natarajan, Jaiswal asserted that such comments arise after mistakes are made on their part, emphasizing that the country cannot afford to focus on trivial matters.

JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad also weighed in, stating that it is now clear that TMC is heading towards formal division. He indicated that it is time for Mamata Banerjee or Abhishek Banerjee to make a decision, as failing to do so would jeopardize the party’s future.

Prasad noted that during TMC’s rule, people were too afraid to voice complaints against any of its leaders. However, with changing circumstances, public anger is now surfacing, leading to such FIRs. He also commented on Meenakshi Natarajan’s statements, expressing disappointment that Congress and Natarajan do not agree with the Supreme Court’s role, suggesting that they should respect the decision rather than making it a matter of prestige.
