According to social media experts, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be released in new colors. A few days ago, the company confirmed in a post on Weibo that the smartphone will launch in China on June 25 alongside the standard Motorola Razr 50.
However, the world premiere is scheduled for July. Ahead of the launch, new colors of the smartphone and information about water resistance have appeared on social media.
New color options for Motorola Razr 50 Ultra
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster @MysteryLupin shared images showing the smartphone’s various color options. According to the snapshot, there can be up to six colors. These include black, blue, beige, green, orange and peach (Pantone color of the year).
In another social media post, the same tipster shared the company’s official video promoting various aspects of the phone, including its waterproof features. According to the claims, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra may be IPX8 certified, which means it can survive up to 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes.
Several other color options are also mentioned in the same video, including pink and purple. However, it is still unclear whether all colors have the same variation.
The video also introduces the camera features of the Razr 50 Ultra and mentions the AI-powered camera system and telephoto zoom capabilities. Its design was also touted, with the company reportedly calling it the smartphone with the “biggest, smartest display ever.”
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Price, Specifications (Expected)
It is worth mentioning that the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be launched in the US market in 2024 under the name Razr+. The price and specifications were recently leaked online. The smartphone is expected to be priced at 1,199 euros (approximately Rs. 107,300) for 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, some key specifications of this phone have also been revealed. It is expected to have a 6.9-inch OLED display and a 3.6-inch display with bezels. Under the hood, it comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Visually, the dual camera setup on the back is said to include a 50 MP wide-angle camera and a 50 MP 2x telephoto sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie camera can be installed on the front of this phone. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB Type-C.
