The Motorola Edge 40 Neo with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC was launched in September last year. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is currently in development as a possible successor. Motorola has not yet confirmed the existence of the new Neo series phones, but previously their design and specifications were leaked online. The questionable rendering shows the phone from all angles. Thin frames and triple cameras can be seen on the back. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is designed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.

Ytechb.com has shared renders and specifications of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. The renders show the phone in blue, cream, gray and red tones with narrow bezels. These colors have marketing names such as navy blue, latte, grissay and poinciana. There is a cutout in the middle of the phone screen for selfies. Additionally, it appears to have a triple camera on the back. The rectangular camera module is similar to the position of the camera on the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

The power and volume buttons are on the right side, and there’s a Dolby Atmos logo along the top edge along with a noise-cancelling microphone. The lower part has a USB Type-C port, a speaker grill, a SIM card tray and a microphone.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is said to feature a 6.4-inch POLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It can be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and Mali-G615 GPU. It is likely to come with Android 14-based Hello UI and may be available in two RAM and storage options: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.

Visually, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone is expected to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It can be equipped with a 4310mAh battery.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is said to have the IP68 build standard. It will likely offer Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC connectivity options. It is said to be 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm and weigh 171 grams.
