Udaipur, May 24 – Mahaveer Yati, a research scholar from the Department of Nursing, has been conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree by Sai Tirupati University in Udaipur. His doctoral thesis focused on “Effectiveness of a Self-Instructional Module on Substance Abuse Among Adolescents in Selected Schools,” marking a significant contribution to the field of adolescent health education and preventive nursing.

Yati completed his research under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Shobha Kundgol, showcasing an evidence-based approach to tackling substance abuse through educational interventions. The research emphasizes the role of self-instructional modules as a strategic tool in curbing addiction tendencies among school-aged youth.
In a notable achievement, Mahaveer Yati has also set a national record by becoming the youngest scholar in India to earn a Ph.D. in Nursing, reinforcing his dedication and academic excellence at a young age.
