Udaipur, April 7, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — An awareness programme was organised on the occasion of World Health Day at the auditorium of Venkateshwar Institute of Paramedical Sciences. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and guests.

The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Principal Dr. Anant Prakash Gupta and Dean Research Dr. Bharat Parashar. This was followed by a devotional presentation by students, creating an inspiring atmosphere.
Highlighting this year’s theme, “Stand with Science, Unite for Health,” Dr. Gupta emphasised the importance of adopting a scientific approach in today’s time. He said that individuals associated with the healthcare sector have a responsibility to spread accurate information in society and keep people away from misconceptions and superstitions. He also stressed that a strong healthcare system can be built only through collective efforts.
Chief guest Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari encouraged students to focus on overall personality development. She said discipline, sensitivity, and a spirit of service are essential qualities for those working in the health sector. She also advised students to focus on time management, regular study, practical training, and self-assessment to achieve their goals, along with staying updated with new technologies in the digital era.
Dr. Bharat Parashar highlighted the importance of research and scientific thinking in the healthcare field and प्रेरित students to use their knowledge and skills for the welfare of society.
Faculty members including Yash Jain, Divya Aatre, Aman Vashishtha, Neetu Biswas, Parth Patel, and Tamanna also shared their views, encouraging awareness about health, cleanliness, and scientific thinking.
At the end of the programme, students took a pledge to remain aware about health and spread awareness in society. The event was conducted by Jeenal Patel and Prem Patidar.
