Mumbai, April 23 : High voltage drama has been going on here after a large number of Shiv Sainiks gathered outside the residence of MP Navneet Rana, after she announced that she would recite the Hanuman Chalisa in front of Matoshree, the residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Udhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Saturday. Earlier, the MP had announced that she would reach Matoshree at 0900 hrs, and recite the Hanuman chalisa. As the Shiv Sena workers are protesting outside her residence, she could not come out, reports said. Heavy police presence was seen outside Rana’s residence at Khar in Mumbai. The police have deployed heavy security outside CM Thackeray’s residence as well in the Kalanagar area to prevent any untoward incidents. Meanwhile, police had served the notice to MP Rana under section 149 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) on Friday, stating that she was not to disturb the peace and maintain the law and order.
