Thrissur, April 15 : Karnataka becomes the money laundering centre of Kerala BJP facing the Kodakara black money case, Senior Congress leader Ms Padmaja Venugopal said in her Facebook post on Friday. Black money seized from Kodakara during the previous Kerala Assembly elections brought from Karnataka, Padmaja Venugopal, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader late K Karunakaran, said. The present development in Karnataka BJP and the resignation of Minister KS Eshwarappa are related to money laundering and corruption, she added. These developments shows the existing ramapant corruption in BJP and its Government in Karnataka. Earlier, BJP State President K Surendran, State Organising Secretary M Ganesh, State Office Secretary G Girish, Thrissur BJP district president K K Aneesh Kumar and several other party leaders were quizzed by the Kerala Police in connection with the looting of party fund and transportation of havala money from Karnataka to Kerala during the previous Assembly elections.
