New Delhi, February 25: The ICC has released the latest T20 bowler rankings amid the Super-8 matches of the T20 World Cup 2026. Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy continues to hold the top position, while South Africa’s Corbin Bosch, West Indies’ Matthew Ford, and India’s Jasprit Bumrah have made significant strides in the rankings.
In the updated list, Afghanistan’s captain Rashid Khan is in second place. Corbin Bosch has jumped 21 spots to secure the third position. England’s spinner Adil Rashid is in fourth place.
Pakistan’s spinner Abrar Ahmed has dropped two places and is now ranked fifth. Australia’s leg-spinner Adam Zampa has moved up two spots to claim the sixth position.
Matthew Ford of the West Indies has also made a remarkable leap, entering the top 10 by climbing 23 places to reach seventh. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, following an impressive performance against South Africa, has also entered the top 10, moving up seven places to the eighth position. Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman is in ninth, while Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga rounds out the top ten, having dropped four places after his team’s exit from the World Cup.
Notably, seven out of the top ten bowlers are spinners.
In the top ten T20 batsmen, India’s Abhishek Sharma leads, followed by England’s Phil Salt in second, and Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan in third, who has gained two spots. Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is fourth, while India’s Ishan Kishan is fifth, moving up three places. India’s Suryakumar Yadav is sixth, and India’s Tilak Varma is seventh, having lost three places. England’s Jos Buttler is eighth, down one spot, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has jumped ten places to ninth. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert completes the top ten.
