Mumbai, October 29 (Udaipur Kiran) — Shares of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) were trading higher on Tuesday after the company announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) to collaborate on academic and technical initiatives.

The stock was trading at ₹227.70, up ₹1.65 or 0.73%, from its previous close of ₹226.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at ₹227.60 and touched an intraday high of ₹228.35 and a low of ₹224.95. So far, 52,820 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹10, has a market capitalization of ₹45,292.99 crore. It has touched a 52-week high of ₹263.95 (on December 17, 2024) and a 52-week low of ₹158.90 (on March 3, 2025). During the past week, it has traded between ₹230.80 and ₹224.75.
The company’s promoter holding stands at 75%, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 12.86% and 12.14%, respectively.
Details of the MoU
The non-binding MoU, signed on October 28, 2025, aims to establish technical collaboration between HUDCO and IIM Calcutta by jointly conducting activities in the fields of training, education, research, and capacity building.
Under this partnership, both institutions plan to offer certificate courses, undertake consultancy assignments, and participate in fee-based projects and professional services in their shared areas of expertise.
The MoU will remain effective for three years from the date of signing and will be reviewed annually for modifications or amendments based on mutual consent.
