Gujarat Alkalies gets nod to establish 10,000 MTA Hydrazine Hydrate Project

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals has received approval to establish 10,000 MTA (80%) Hydrazine Hydrate Project through EPCM mode at revised estimated cost of Rs 405.50 crore including Interest During Construction (IDC). The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on December 6, 2018, approved the same.

The project is planned to go on stream in 24 months from zero date. The Project when implemented, will contribute around Rs 300 crore in sales of the company at the prevailing market prices.

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals is engaged in business of manufacturing basic chemicals such as sodium cyanide, sodium ferrocyanide, chloromethanes, hydrochloric acid, caustic potash, potassium carbonate, phosphoric acid (85%) and hydrogen peroxide.
