GBH Sims Hospital Launched in Bhilwara After SIMS Joins GBH Group

Bhilwara, 15 December (Udaipur Kiran) — Bhilwara’s SIMS Hospital has officially become part of the GBH Group and will now operate as GBH Sims Hospital. The hospital was formally inaugurated in the presence of MP Damodar Agarwal, MLA Ashok Kothari and several distinguished saints.

GBH Group Chairman and internationally renowned cancer specialist Dr. Kirti Jain, who also practices in the United States, said the group established Udaipur’s first private hospital — GBH American Hospital — 20 years ago. Over the years, the group expanded to include a cancer hospital, a general hospital and a medical college. He said the decision to bring SIMS Hospital under the GBH umbrella was taken keeping in mind the healthcare needs of Bhilwara. The merger was made possible due to SIMS’ strong infrastructure and experienced team of doctors.

Dr. Jain shared that for the past four months, senior super-speciality doctors from GBH Udaipur had been visiting Bhilwara every Saturday. He added that robotic surgery, cancer treatment and radiation therapy facilities will be launched soon so that patients no longer need to travel to Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Ajmer or Jaipur. The aim, he said, is to provide comprehensive and advanced healthcare under one roof within Bhilwara itself.

Speaking at the launch, MP Damodar Agarwal praised GBH Hospital’s reputation in Udaipur, saying that its quality healthcare has earned widespread trust. He said Bhilwara is fortunate that a globally recognised cancer specialist like Dr. Kirti Jain has chosen to bring advanced medical services to the city. MLA Ashok Kothari added that healthcare is a noble responsibility and that Bhilwara will now have access to highly skilled doctors at all times.

In a major announcement, Dr. Jain assured that OPD services at GBH Sims Hospital will be available for just Rs 100, robotic surgery will begin within a month, and a cancer radiation machine — along with a full team of cancer specialists — will be operational within a year.

GBH Sims Director Dr. Harish Maru said SIMS needed a capable and experienced partner for efficient hospital management, and GBH Group fit that requirement perfectly. He confirmed that the hospital will now offer cashless treatment under government schemes, TPAs, insurance and ESI, with several MoUs already signed and more in progress.

Directors Dr. Rohit Malashwari and Dr. Surabhi Porwal highlighted Dr. Kirti Jain’s commitment to strengthening healthcare in his home region. They noted that GBH hospitals in Udaipur currently treat around 3,000 patients daily, with over 400 doctors and 1,000 nurses delivering medical services. They said their goal is to provide Bhilwara with the same level of advanced healthcare.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by industrialist Pankaj Oswal, Mahant Banwari Sharan Shastri, Hemraj Postwal, Babu Giri Malashwari and several prominent citizens of Bhilwara. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Surabhi Porwal.
