Gautam Buddh Nagar, October 8 (Udaipur Kiran): Noida Police have registered fraud cases against two well-known builder groups for allegedly duping investors of several crores by failing to hand over promised flats and commercial properties.

According to the media cell of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, a complaint was filed by Sakshi Buddhi Raja, an officer of NWD & Soft Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. (Delhi), against Bhutani Infra, CBSE International, and their representatives. The FIR, lodged at Sector 142 police station, accuses the developers of cheating the company of ₹1.62 crore.
The complaint names Bhutani Infra’s Chairman and Managing Director Prem Bhutani, along with Gaurav Sharma, Sanjay Rastogi, Aditya Raj Saxena, Naman, Naseem, Sakshi, Madhuri, Rajesh Tandon, Amit, and Anuradha Sharma, under multiple sections related to fraud.
According to the FIR, the complainant’s company planned to invest in an office space in Noida. Representatives from Bhutani Infra approached them with an offer to purchase a unit on the third floor of Bhutani Group’s Alpha project in Sector 90, priced at approximately ₹4 crore. During a meeting held on January 6, 2025, the accused allegedly demanded cash payment to finalise the deal. The company subsequently paid ₹1.62 crore. However, when they later tried to contact Gaurav Sharma, his phone was found switched off.
In a separate case, an FIR has been filed at Sector 113 police station following a court order. Complainant Amit Prasad Rai alleged that he booked a flat in Sikka Group’s Kimatra Green project in Sector 79 and paid ₹7.8 lakh, but the builder neither handed over the flat nor refunded the amount. The property was allegedly sold to another buyer.
The accused in the second case include Sikka Group Directors Harvinder Singh Sikka, Gurmeet Singh Sikka, Gurleen Kaur, Rajeev Sharma, Himanshu Jain, and Chandramani Devi. Police have registered the case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code related to cheating and criminal breach of trust.
