Dungarpur, November 27 (Udaipur Kiran): Former Rajasthan Minister of State and former BJP state general secretary Sushil Katara has urged Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and Union Ministers from Rajasthan Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh, Bhupendra Yadav and Bhagirath Chaudhary to initiate necessary steps to bring the body of Nipun, son of Dungarpur councillor Mohanlal Nagda, from Canada to India.

According to Katara’s personal secretary, Nipun Nagda, son of senior BJP worker and Nagar Parishad councillor Mohanlal Nagda, died suddenly on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest in Canada. He was 43 years old. Mohanlal Nagda is a resident of New Colony and is currently a BJP councillor. His son Nipun, after completing computer engineering, was living and working in the city of Vaimanton in Canada with his wife Tina Jain and sons Kabir and Abeer.
As per the information, Nipun had returned home after playing badminton as usual and went to the bathroom where he suddenly collapsed and died due to cardiac arrest. After the sudden incident, his wife and children were in deep shock.
On receiving the news, relatives living in Canada and residents of the Vagad region reached to assist with further formalities. In Dungarpur also, the news of the incident caused a wave of grief across the family and the entire community. Public representatives informed former minister Sushil Katara, after which he wrote to the concerned ministers requesting necessary assistance to bring Nipun’s body from Canada to Dungarpur.
After the incident, family members are in severe distress, and people from across the division are reaching Dungarpur to express condolences. After the birth of his younger son in Canada, Nipun had also obtained Canadian citizenship.
