Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ continues to dominate at the box office. After a slight dip in earnings during its second week, the film regained momentum over the weekend. Typically, collections tend to slow down by the third week, but ‘Dhurandhar’ has broken this trend, showcasing its strong hold among audiences. Recent box office figures underscore the film’s historic success.
Record Earnings on 17th Day
According to Saknilk’s report, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned a remarkable ₹38.50 crore on its third Sunday, December 21. Within just 17 days, the film has amassed ₹555.75 crore at the Indian box office. This figure has helped ‘Dhurandhar’ surpass Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal,’ which had collected ₹553 crore.
Fastest Third-Week Collections
‘Dhurandhar’ has also set the record for the fastest and highest earnings in the third week, raking in approximately ₹95 crore during this period. This achievement puts it ahead of blockbuster films like ‘Pushpa 2’ (Hindi) with ₹60 crore, ‘Stree 2’ at ₹48.75 crore, ‘Gadar 2’ with ₹36.95 crore, and ‘Jawan’ at ₹34.81 crore.
Given its current pace, ‘Dhurandhar’ is expected to enter the ₹600 crore club within the next two to three days, potentially surpassing Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava,’ which earned ₹604 crore. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is shaping up to be one of the biggest blockbusters of Ranveer Singh’s career.
