Jaipur, October 31 (Udaipur Kiran): The effect of a cyclonic system has brought widespread rain to several parts of Rajasthan, causing a significant drop in temperatures. On Thursday, light rain was recorded in many districts, including Jaipur, as the state experienced a prolonged spell of showers and cloudy weather. With the continued rainfall, daytime temperatures have dropped sharply, marking an early arrival of winter chill.

According to weather experts, the impact of the cyclone will continue partially across the state till October 31, with cloudy skies expected in some areas. Another weather system is likely to form around November 3, bringing light rain to districts in the Udaipur, Ajmer, and Kota divisions.
Rain and Cold Grip Major Cities
In Jaipur, intermittent rainfall over the past two days has led to a noticeable decline in both day and night temperatures. Many areas witnessed light fog on Friday morning. During the past 24 hours, dense clouds and light rain were observed in Ajmer, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh. Jaisalmer saw a temperature drop of up to 8°C, while Udaipur remained the coldest with a maximum temperature of 22.2°C.
