Bulldozer Action at Accused Student’s Home in Udaipur

Udaipur: In a swift response to the recent stabbing incident, the Udaipur Municipal Corporation has demolished the illegal construction at the home of the accused student. The action was taken after the house was vacated and the electricity connection was disconnected.

The demolition began around noon on Saturday. Earlier in the morning, both the Municipal Corporation and the Forest Department had served notices on the house regarding the illegal construction. However, the Forest Department had given the family three days to vacate the premises.

Officials have confirmed that the land in question belongs to the Forest Department. Meanwhile, a video of the accused student has surfaced, allegedly recorded after Friday’s attack. In the video, he is seen fleeing on a scooter.

Following Friday’s incident, the city has been under a network shutdown, and schools have been closed. However, the situation has normalized as of Saturday morning, and markets have reopened.

On Friday morning, a student at a government school in Bhattiyani Chauhatta had stabbed another student, leading to widespread violence and vandalism in the city. It has been reported that the two students had been feuding for three to four days prior to the incident, but the school administration was unaware of it.

A social media chat of the accused student has also surfaced, in which he is discussing the attack and planning to kill someone with another friend. This chat is said to be from three days before the attack. The injured student is now in a stable condition. The Chief Minister has sent a team of specialist doctors to Udaipur in a chartered plane to treat the child.
