Murder Caught on CCTV, Accused Couple Identified
Hiranmagri Police Station Officer Bharat Yogi confirmed that the victim was identified as Jitendra Meena (30), a resident of Dungarpur. The prime suspects, seen in the footage, are a married couple – Narshi and Dimple (25), both also from Dungarpur.
According to initial investigations, Dimple and Jitendra had been living together in a rented room in Panerio Ki Madri for the past five months. The house owner was away in the fields when the deadly attack took place.
The murder is suspected to be linked to a love affair, though the exact motive remains under investigation.
Swift and Brutal Execution of the Crime
Jitendra, a compounder at a private hospital in Udaipur, was with Dimple, who works as a nurse at the same hospital, when Narshi stormed into the room. Without hesitation, he stabbed Jitendra four to five times in the back, killing him instantly.
The entire crime was executed in just three minutes, after which Narshi and Dimple fled the scene. CCTV footage later revealed Narshi running through the narrow lanes, and locals who saw him alerted the police immediately.
Investigation Underway, Motive Still Unclear
Jitendra’s body has been shifted to the mortuary at MB Hospital. Police are currently piecing together the exact sequence of events and determining the motive behind the murder.
