AVVNL staff warns tool down strike in Pratapgarh

Udaipur : The technical and ministerial staff of the Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (AVVNL) in Pratapgarh district refrained from work on wednesday and gave a tool down notice to protest against a senior officer of the department. The protesting men demanded disciplinary action against Assistant Engineer P.S Bundela, whom they said, was  habitual of using unconstitutional and abusive language with his juniors.

The protest came after five audio clips went viral over the social media where Bundela was heard using unconstitutional words while communicating with his suboridnates.The technical and ministerial staff of five blocks including Pratapgarh, Arnod, Dhariyawad, Peepalkhoont and Chhoti Sadri refrained from work for the day and sat on a dharna outside the AEN  office.None  of the senior officials of the department came to  pacify the striking men which infuriated them further. ” We will not get back to work unless the erring officer is removed or suspended. There would be tool down strike for indefinite period untill we are heard” they claimed.
