Artists paint historic Sahasrabahu Temple in Udaipur

Udaipur : Artists from across India participated in the second day of the three-day Plane Air Water Color Art Camp – City of Lakes organized by the Western Zonal Cultural Centre (WZCC) in Udaipur. On Friday, the artists painted the historic Sahasrabahu Temple in Nagada.

The WZCC director Kiran Soni Gupta said that the camp featured 16 water color artists, including renowned water color artist Milind Mullik from Pune. The artists painted different scenes of the Sahasrabahu Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They also learned about the history and significance of the temple.

In the evening, the artists painted the Saraswati Library in Gulab Bagh. On the third day of the camp, the artists will paint the Sahelis Ki Bari and Shilpgram.

The camp is aimed at promoting water color art and encouraging artists to explore the rich cultural heritage of Udaipur. It is also an opportunity for the artists to learn about the history and culture of the city.
