Udaipur : In a daring incident, thieves have stolen the car of an additional police superintendent in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The incident has sent shockwaves through the police department.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Women’s Crime and Research Cell, Chittorgarh) Mukesh Sankhla’s car was stolen from outside his rented house in Sinchai Nagar on Saturday afternoon. The theft came to light after a considerable delay, following which Sankhla informed the Kotwali police station.
A team from the Kotwali police station and cyber experts rushed to the spot and began an investigation. CCTV footage is being scanned to trace the stolen car.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of police officers and their property. The police are yet to make any arrests in the case.
