Raksha Bandhan, a festival celebrating the bond of brotherhood, is around the corner. With the increasing reliance on digital communication, WhatsApp has become a popular platform to send heartfelt Rakhi wishes. This app offers various ways to express your feelings in a creative and meaningful way. WhatsApp messages are an option for many people, but there are also other tools you can use to convey your thoughts and feelings, such as photos, stickers and GIFs.
In this article, we will discuss four creative ways to express your love to your brother using WhatsApp.
Photo/video
You can make a heartfelt video and wish your brother well and express your love to him. Or you can share photos that remind you of your fondest memories. To send a media file, tap the attachment icon and select the camera/gallery where you want to record/send a short video or photo.
Stickers
Another popular tool is sending stickers to exchange wishes and love on WhatsApp. You can download sticker apps from the Google Play Store or create custom sticker packs. WhatsApp also recently introduced GIPHY stickers. To send a sticker on WhatsApp, just go to your chat and tap the sticker icon. You can search here using text or emoji.
GIF
Both Apple iPhone and Android users can create GIF files and share them with others. With this app you can send videos of less than 6 seconds as GIF loops. To create a GIF, open a chat, click the pin icon, then click Gallery. Select the video you want to send and use the slider to trim it to 6 seconds or less. You can also send Live Photos as GIFs.
Meta-artificial intelligence
WhatsApp also has a feature called Artificial Intelligence Stickers. You can ask MetaAI to generate an artificial intelligence (AI) tag based on the description you entered. To generate an AI sticker, tap the MetaAI icon in WhatsApp to display a message prompting you to generate a specific sticker.
