Jaisalmer, December 15 (Udaipur Kiran) – Around 12 people were injured in a head-on collision between a school bus and a Bolero camper near Jodha village on Barmer Road in Jaisalmer district, caused by dense fog.
According to the information received, the Bolero camper was returning from a wedding ceremony when the accident occurred. Among the injured were three school students traveling in the bus.
With the help of local residents, all the injured were taken to the Government Jawahar Hospital. After initial treatment, five seriously injured individuals were referred to Jodhpur for further medical care.
The injured referred to Jodhpur include Chandu Kanwar (30 years), Poonam (6 years), Durga Kanwar (40 years), Diksha (5 years), and Bhawani Kanwar (18 years). Upon receiving the information, Sadar Police Station Officer Premdan reached the spot and has started an investigation.
