The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2024, and its successor is expected around the same time next year. So far, the Chinese technology brand has not revealed any details about the upcoming high-end phone. Like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra also comes with a quad-camera setup on the back. It is powered by an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

According to a post (in Chinese translation) on Weibo, a popular digital advisory chat channel, the Xiaomi 15 will have an ultra-quad rear camera. It is reported to have a 200-megapixel telephoto lens with periscope and 4x zoom. Another Ice Universe tipster (@UniverseEyes) also echoed this rumor on X.
The 200 MP zoom lens is a significant improvement over the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s camera. The latter is equipped with four cameras, including four 50-megapixel sensors. The main 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 camera has optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors with 3.2x optical zoom and 5x optical zoom. The fourth camera has an ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

Xiaomi Ultra 15 is expected to be released in early 2025. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch in India in March and will be priced at Rs 99,999 for the single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.
It comes with HyperOS based on Android 14 and features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging and 10W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is IP68 rated for dust and splash protection.
