Minsk, March 4 ( /Sputnik) Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Friday said “Western states are clinging to and will not let go until they think they have dealt with us”. Talking about two hour long discussion on the Western policy and conflict in Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenko told the media here: “Try to understand, they are pushing us into war in Ukraine.” The Belarusian President said: “If only we intervened now in this conflict, where we are not expected, it would be a gift for them.” His presser was aired by Belarus 1 broadcaster. /SPUTNIK VP ING
