Lucknow : Flowers will be showered on Kanwar Yatris by helicopter for the next three days in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to monitor the Kanwar Yatra by helicopter and shower flowers on the Kanwariyas.
It will start from Saharanpur, Meerut division. Yogi Adityanath started the tradition of showering flowers on Kanwariyas after becoming the Chief Minister. State government spokespersons say that in the previous Samajwadi Party government, Kanwar Yatra was not even allowed to be taken out.
