UNION MINISTER OF STATE FOR DEFENCESHRI AJAY BHATT INSPECTS NCC TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Jaipur : Air Commodore Lalit Kumar Jain, Deputy Director General welcomed the Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt in the program organized at Subodh Mahavidyalaya of Directorate of National Cadet Corps Rajasthan and presented detailed information about the NCC training activities conducted in the state. Guard of honor and cultural program was presented by NCC cadets on this occasion.

On this occasion, Mr. Bhatt honored the meritorious cadets and courageous cadets of Rajasthan who have made exemplary contribution in human service and life-saving with their quick, courageous decisions and self-confidence.

Deputy Director General, NCC informed that this year NCC is celebrating its glorious 75th anniversary festival, under which many programs are being organized throughout the year. Under this, the cadets recently met Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in Delhi during Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Chivir. Along with this, cadets are actively participating in Punit Sagar Abhiyan to keep the nation’s waters, rivers, lakes, sea shores clean regularly under the nationwide program of NCC and • State under the ‘Shat-Pat Namanah’ campaign to the martyrs. The families of the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country by going to every small village of the state are being honored by giving them symbols and all possible help and guidance is being given to them.

Along with this, with the aim of providing quality training to the cadets by incorporating new technology in the training of NCC this year, each unit for firing simulators, air and naval training in remote areas of each group headquarters like Churu, Sriganganagar and other areas. The Directorate of Rajasthan expresses its gratitude to the Minister of State for Defence for sanctioning 5000 additional posts for NCC expansion in the border area as part of the Ministry of Defence’s campaign to bring the students of the border area at par with the whole of India. Now more and more students in Barmer, Bikaner, Jaisalmer will get a chance to take NCC training.
