Udaipur, October 6, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Three students were seriously injured after plaster from the classroom ceiling fell at a government primary school in Bhinder, Udaipur, on Tuesday morning. Two other students also suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The incident took place around 11 am at Government Primary School Narda in Vaniyatlai Gram Panchayat under the Bhinder police station area. At the time, 32 students were present in the classroom when the ceiling plaster suddenly fell, causing the children to be injured by the debris.
Three Students Suffer Head Injuries
Headmaster Lalsingh Shaktawat said Class 1 student Krishna Kumari, Kartik and Class 5 student Ganeshlal suffered head injuries in the incident.
The three injured students were taken to Bhinder Government Hospital for treatment. After receiving medical care, they were discharged and sent home.
Two other students sustained minor injuries in the incident.
School Building Locked as Precaution
Following directions from the Education Department and local administration, the school building has been locked as a precautionary measure.
The school will now be shifted from the building and classes will be conducted near Mataji’s Chabutra.
