The movie ‘Udaipur Files’, released in theatres on August 8, has failed to perform at the box office. Before its release, the film was surrounded by controversies, but this did not benefit its collections. The movie, which faced a long delay due to legal hurdles, was finally released only after receiving the green signal from the court. According to reports, ‘Udaipur Files’ could not even collect Rs 2 crore.

A video of the film’s producer, Amit Jani, is now going viral, in which he is seen expressing anger towards Hindus for not watching the movie. He alleged that Hindus are not interested in getting justice for Kanhaiyalal, while a portion of the film’s earnings was meant to support Kanhaiyalal Tailor’s family in their legal battle.
In the viral video, Amit Jani said, “Hindus, you did not have time to watch the movie for poor Kanhaiyalal. You spent money on ‘Saiyara’, and now you will spend it on the upcoming ‘Coolie’ movie. What Kanhaiyalal’s killers could not do, you have done.” He also referred to the Pahalgam attack, mentioning that 26 people were killed there, but Hindus are unaffected by such incidents.
Amit Jani further stated that his system is so big that losses do not affect him, and there is no price for such loss. He said, “When Kanhaiyalal’s family will stand in court, only Kapil Sibal will be there, not any big lawyer. This film was made to get justice for Kanhaiyalal.”
The producer had announced earlier that 25 percent of the movie’s earnings would be given to Kanhaiyalal’s family to support their legal fight. The film is directed by Bharat S. Shrineta and Jayant Sinha, with Vijay Raj playing the role of Kanhaiyalal.
