Students Shine in Athletics, Team Sports, and Cultural Performances
Udaipur, January 30: With the motto, “Fuel your passion with confidence and become the best athlete in the world,” Witty International School, Udaipur, successfully hosted a two-day Annual Sports Festival at its Sukher campus.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Anoop Dave (Senior Selection Committee Member, Rajasthan Cricket Team), Krishna Kunwar Gehlot (World Record Holder & Skating Coach), and Dr. Hanumat Singh Rajpurohit (Police Inspector). The school’s Founder, Preeti Sogani, Principal Bijo Kurien, and CAIE Principal Deepa Chakraborty welcomed the distinguished guests and flagged off the celebrations.

Students mesmerized the audience with motivational songs and dynamic dance performances, instilling a spirit of sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Four houses – Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz – led a parade, saluting the dignitaries and lighting the ceremonial torch, marking the beginning of the competitions.

The competitions were conducted among all four houses, with students displaying remarkable talent, determination, and team spirit. The winners were honored with certificates, gold, silver, and bronze medals, while the overall champion house received the coveted trophy.
Basketball Court Inaugurated, Guests Encourage Students
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of a new basketball court on campus by Chief Guest Anoop Dave. The school’s Principal, Bijo Kurien, and CAIE Principal, Deepa Chakraborty, praised the students’ dedication and enthusiasm, while also expressing gratitude to parents for their continuous support.
Encouraging students, the chief guests emphasized the importance of sports alongside academics. They highlighted how physical activities contribute to mental and physical well-being and pave the way for bright career prospects in sports.
