Fatal Crash Claims Lives of Devotees En Route to Khatu Shyam Ji
Jaipur, March 21 — A devastating road accident took place early Friday morning near the Morada bridge on National Highway 48 in Kotputli, Rajasthan. A speeding trailer rammed into a car from behind, killing three people — including two women and a child — and leaving six others critically injured.

Pilgrimage Journey Turns Tragic on Busy Highway
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Burdak, the victims were devotees traveling from Delhi to the holy town of Khatu Shyam Ji. The car, carrying seven people, was struck by a heavy trailer traveling at high speed.
The deceased have been identified as Rekha, wife of Narendra Singh Jat; Parth, an 8-year-old boy and son of Sunil Kumar; and Kamera, wife of Harendra — all residents of Meerut. The sudden impact of the crash proved fatal for them, while the remaining occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries.
Injured Rushed to Hospital; Four Referred to Jaipur
The Paniyala police station responded swiftly to the incident and, with help from local residents, transported the injured to the Government BDM District Hospital. Due to the severity of their condition, four of the injured — Jyoti Jat (34) of Khana Kheda, Meerut; Rashmi Jat (35) and Himanshu Jat (38) from Palwal, Haryana; and Hemraj Gurjar (22) of Patan, Sikar — were referred to a hospital in Jaipur for advanced medical care.
Police have initiated an investigation and are likely to take action against the truck driver responsible for the collision.
