(Udaipur Kiran News | Tech Desk): T-Mobile has announced a major expansion of its Starlink-powered T-Satellite service, extending support to third-party apps. Initially launched earlier this year with basic messaging and location-sharing, the service will now work seamlessly with popular apps like WhatsApp, AllTrails, OnX, AccuWeather, Google Maps, CalTopo, and X (formerly Twitter).

The T-Satellite service, included in most T-Mobile plans, allows users to stay connected even without cellular coverage. Customers using other networks can subscribe for $10 per month.
According to T-Mobile, the new integration will allow users to:
-
Send messages, voice notes, and photos on WhatsApp
-
Call group chats even when off-grid
-
Post text, photos, GIFs, and videos on X
-
Use location-tracking and navigation via Google Maps, AllTrails, and OnX
The service is compatible with recently released Android and iOS devices, with plans to extend support to older models. Currently, the features are available on select iOS 26 and Android 16 devices.
T-Mobile also confirmed that native apps on iPhone, Pixel, and Samsung smartphones are fully supported under T-Satellite.
