New Delhi, October 28 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of SpiceJet gained on Monday after the airline announced plans to operate 250 daily flights under its Winter Schedule 2025, marking a significant expansion in both domestic and international operations.
The stock was trading at Rs. 38.92, up 1.22 percent or Rs. 0.47, from its previous close of Rs. 38.45 on the BSE. It opened at Rs. 38.64 and touched a high of Rs. 39.70 and a low of Rs. 37.30. A total of 79,71,246 shares were traded during the session.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 10, has touched a 52-week high of Rs. 64.00 (November 6, 2024) and a 52-week low of Rs. 28.13 (October 8, 2025). Over the past week, it traded between Rs. 40.59 and Rs. 33.50. The airline’s market capitalisation currently stands at Rs. 5,453.37 crore.

Promoters hold 33.45 percent of the company’s shares, while institutions and non-institutional investors own 13.30 percent and 53.24 percent, respectively.
Major Expansion in Winter Schedule
SpiceJet’s new winter schedule marks a twofold increase from its 125 daily flights during the summer schedule and a sharp rise from 150 daily flights last winter. The carrier expects to achieve this 250-flight milestone after the induction of 19 leased aircraft into its fleet in the coming weeks. The expanded operations began in a phased rollout from October 26, 2025.
Boost to International and Domestic Routes
The schedule enhances international leisure connectivity, introducing nonstop daily flights to Phuket from Delhi and Mumbai.
Domestically, metro routes receive a significant upgrade — Mumbai–Bengaluru will operate twice daily starting November 1 and 15, and Chennai–Bengaluru flights commence November 8. Connectivity to Rajasthan’s key winter destinations — Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer — has also been strengthened.

The airline is also expanding its presence in the religious travel segment, with enhanced services to Ayodhya.

Fleet Expansion and Growth Outlook
By November 2025, SpiceJet aims to double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometres (ASKM) to meet rising passenger demand and reinforce its position across key domestic and international markets.
