Sonipat, 11th August (Udaipur Kiran) – The police conducted a major raid on Saturday night at several spa centers located in malls along GT Road, Sonipat. The raid was carried out following complaints about illegal activities happening under the guise of spa services. The police arrested 15 women and three men from three different spa centers.
According to the information, multiple teams from Sonipat Police conducted sudden raids late Saturday night at three prominent and well-known malls situated on National Highway-44, near Kundli and surrounding areas. The police had received information that these spa centers were involved in illegal activities and that girls from Delhi and other states were being brought in for sex work under the cover of spa services.
The police raided the spa centers in KFC Mall and other locations in Kundli. A total of 15 women and three men were taken into custody from three different spa centers. The police have registered a case against the spa owners and those arrested and will present them in Sonipat Court. The police claim that the spa centers were involved in illegal activities by bringing in girls from Delhi and other states.
PCI Naveen Kumar, who was part of the operation, informed that the police had received a tip-off about the illegal activities happening under the cover of spa services at the KFC Mall. Based on this information, a team was prepared under the orders of ACP Headquarters for the raid. The team successfully raided three different locations and arrested 15 women and three men. The police have registered a case and will present them in court for further proceedings.
