Mumbai, 3 September (Kiran News): Shares of Sarveshwar Foods moved up on Tuesday after the company announced it had signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a German technology company. The stock was trading at Rs. 7.67 on the BSE, up by 0.52% from its previous close.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7.56 and touched a high of Rs. 7.88 and a low of Rs. 7.56 during the session. The company’s current market capitalisation is Rs. 942.43 crore.
Promoters hold 51.43% of the company, with institutional and non-institutional investors holding 0.06% and 48.51% respectively.
Under the MoU, Sarveshwar Foods will adopt next-generation solutions for rice storage, preservation, and preparation. The agreement covers a CO2-based storage system to preserve rice freshness without chemical preservatives, reusable cocoons for storage to reduce contamination and waste, and a smoke generator technology to produce a premium smoky flavour in rice for global markets.
These technologies are expected to strengthen the company’s premium product portfolio, support global expansion, and align with Sarveshwar Foods’ long-term strategy of innovation and sustainability. The company aims to blend traditional rice expertise with advanced technology to accelerate export growth and enhance consumer trust in markets such as Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
Sarveshwar Foods is engaged in processing and marketing branded and unbranded basmati and non-basmati rice both in India and abroad.
