Last month, we learned that Samsung was working on the Galaxy M55s, which was later certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. The device is on its way to availability and further certification.
It is approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which means it is sold in India and (unsurprisingly) elsewhere.
According to Geekbench test results of the M55s prototype, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and there will also be a version with 8GB of RAM (of course, there could be more).
The phone runs Android 14 with 6.1 UI. It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. We know these details for now, but it’s clear that the M55 will become official in the coming weeks.
