Rupa & Company zooms on getting nod to incorporate wholly-owned subsidiary company

Rupa & Company is currently trading at Rs. 188.10, up by 11.35 points or 6.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 176.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 177.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.10 and Rs. 177.85 respectively. So far 17837 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 364.25 on 16-Jan-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 157.05 on 15-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.10 and Rs. 175.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1499.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.13% and 26.59% respectively.

Rupa & Company has received approval to set up and incorporate a wholly-owned subsidiary company with the name ‘Rupa Fashions’ or any other name, as may be approved by the prescribed authority, and to invest such amount in the said Company. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 12, 2019 has approved the same.

Rupa & Company is a knitwear innerwear product company.
