
The Redmi Buds 5C launched in India on Tuesday alongside the Redmi 13 5G. The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones join the company’s latest product range, which also includes the Redmi Buds 5 launched in February this year. Redmi Buds 5C comes with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 36-hour full battery life with fast charging, and multi-codec support.

Redmi Buds 5C in India for Rs 1,999. The TWS headphones are available in three colors: Acoustic Black, Bass White and Symphony Blue. According to the company, sales will begin on July 20 at 12:00 PM (IST) and will be available for purchase on the brand’s Amazon website, as well as Flipkart and Xiaomi retail stores.

Redmi Buds 5C supports 40dB hybrid noise reduction and SBC and AAC codecs. They have a special transparency mode that can be changed through the Xiaomi Earbuds app. The same app allows users to customize the controls. According to the company, the TWS headphones are equipped with 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers and support five sound profiles: Standard, Enhance Treble, Enhance Bass, Enhance Voice and Custom Mode.
Redmi Buds 5C has IP54 protection against dust and water. In terms of connectivity, they support Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Quick Name. Users can enable audio sharing on select Xiaomi and Redmi phones and pair two Redmi Buds 5Cs to play music together.
The TWS earphone charging case measures 57 x 55.95 x 26.85 mm and weighs 38.5 grams. The company claims that the Redmi Buds 5C can last up to 7 hours on a single charge, with a total playback time of up to 36 hours (with ANC off). They also have a quick-charge function: a 10-minute charge provides up to two hours of playing time.
