The Redmi 14C was launched by the company on Friday. The smartphone comes as a successor to the Redmi 13C, a budget device that was launched in December 2023. The Xiaomi subsidiary equips the Redmi 14C with a 6.88-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a charging power of 18 W. The phone comes in four color options and features a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The company has not revealed the price of the Redmi 14C yet, but reports suggest that the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage can be purchased in the Czech Republic for CZK 2,999 (approximately Rs. 11,100), while the 256GB + 8GB can be purchased for CZK. 3,699 (approximately Rs. 13,700).
Customers can purchase the Redmi 14C in Dream Purple, Midnight Black, Sage Green and Star Blue. The company has not yet announced any plans to launch this device in India.

Redmi 14C is a dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) phone running on Android 14 with the company’s HyperOS skin. It features a 6.88-inch (720 x 1640 pixels) HD+ LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and 450 nits maximum brightness. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
For photos and videos, the Redmi 14C has a 50-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone has an unspecified second lens. On the front, this phone has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Redmi 14C offers up to 256GB eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. Sensors in this aircraft include an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a virtual proximity sensor, and an electronic compass.
The Redmi 14C is powered by a 5160mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, but the phone does not come with a power adapter. A fingerprint sensor is installed on the side of the device for biometric authentication. The size is 171.88 x 77.8.8.22 mm and the weight varies between 207 grams and 211 grams depending on the color option.
