
Jaipur, August 26 (Udaipur Kiran) – A tragic accident occurred on Monday morning in the Bagru police station area on Ajmer National Highway-48. Two trailers collided suddenly, causing a massive fire. The driver and helper of one of the trailers were trapped inside the cabin and were burned alive, leading to their painful deaths. Firefighters were called, and after a tough battle, the fire was brought under control. The incident caused a long traffic jam on National Highway 48 near Dahmi Khurd. The traffic was cleared after both trailers were removed with the help of cranes.
According to the police, the collision between the two trailers on National Highway 48 at Dahmi Khurd led to the fire. A milk tanker following the trailers also lost control and fell into a drain. The police arrived at the scene and, with the help of firefighters, managed to extinguish the fire. Unfortunately, the driver and helper of one trailer were stuck in the cabin and could not be rescued in time, resulting in their deaths. Due to the heat, the bodies could not be removed from the cabin until 10 a.m.
The accident caused a long traffic jam on the highway. The road was cleared after the trailers were removed with the help of cranes. The bodies of the driver and helper have been kept in the mortuary at Bagru hospital, but their identities have not yet been determined. The police are trying to identify the owner of the trailer based on its registration number.
