PVR gains with its arm joining hand with Panorama Studios

PVR is currently trading at Rs. 1624.55, up by 0.85 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 1623.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1620.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1634.20 and Rs. 1617.10 respectively. So far 1638 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1833.80 on 20-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1064.55 on 19-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1649.00 and Rs. 1566.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7615.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 20.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 70.34% and 9.40% respectively.

PVR Pictures, the motion picture arm of PVR has joined hand with Panorama Studios, a subsidiary of Panorama Studios International (formerly known as Apunka Invest Commercial) to distribute films pan India.

At the onset the companies together will distribute Panorama Studios upcoming film slate starting with Batla House, followed by Section 375 and Khuda Hafiz, all slated for FY 2019-20 release.

PVR is the largest and most premium film exhibition company in India. Since its inception in 1997, the brand has redefined the way entertainment is consumed in the country.
