New Delhi, October 27 (Udaipur Kiran): Three-time champions Patna Pirates continued their dominant form in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12, defeating Bengaluru Bulls 46-37 in the Eliminator-2 match held at Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. With this victory — their eighth consecutive win — Patna advanced to Eliminator-3, where they will face Telugu Titans for a place in the final.

Ayan’s 19-Point Masterclass Leads Patna to Victory
Patna’s star raider Ayan once again showcased his brilliance, scoring 19 points, and playing a decisive role in the team’s win. In defense, Navdeep and Deepak displayed excellent coordination, both securing High-5s and shutting down Bengaluru’s key raiders.
For the Bulls, substitute raider Shubham Bitake created history by scoring seven points in a single raid (1 bonus + 6 touch points), briefly reviving his team’s hopes by inflicting an all-out on Patna. However, Bulls captain Alireza Mirzaein (6 points) failed to maintain consistency, and the team eventually bowed out of the tournament.
Patna Dominates the First Half
Patna Pirates took control early in the game, inflicting an all-out within the first five minutes to lead 9-3. Ayan’s successive successful raids and Deepak’s tight tackles helped extend the scoreline to 15-5. By halftime, thanks to a multi-point raid from Ayan, Patna had built a commanding 23-12 lead — a 14-point cushion that proved crucial.
Bulls’ Comeback Attempt Falls Short
In the second half, the Bulls attempted a comeback led by Shubham Bitake’s record-breaking raid, narrowing the margin to 29-36. However, Ayan’s explosive raids and Patna’s solid defensive setup, led by Deepak and Navdeep, sealed the game.
Patna Pirates Eye the Final Spot
With their eighth consecutive win, the Patna Pirates have emerged as one of the most balanced sides in the competition — combining experience with youthful aggression. Their next face-off against Telugu Titans in Eliminator-3 will decide their spot in the grand finale.
Patna’s all-round strength in raiding and defense continues to make them one of the most formidable contenders for the PKL Season 12 title.
