PIMS Mewar Cup: Ravi Bishnoi’s team in final, Mewar Tourism wins Super Over

Udaipur: Exciting matches were played on Saturday at the PIMS Mewar Cup tournament being played at the Field Club ground in the city. The Spartans Cricket Academy, Jodhpur team of international player Ravi Bishnoi won by 17 runs to enter the final. In the morning match, the first Super Over was played as the scores of both the teams were equal, in which the Mewar Tourism team defeated Delhi Challengers.

Spartans Cricket Academy batted first and scored 197 runs for five wickets in the allotted overs. Ravi Bishnoi scored 55, Shubham Patwal scored 44 and Rajat Singh scored 43 runs. In reply, GR Cricket Academy could only score 180 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted overs.

In the first match played earlier, Mewar Tourism Club scored 172 runs for seven wickets. Sumit Godara scored 43 and Divya Pratap scored 39 runs. In reply, Delhi Challengers Cricket Club also scored 172 runs. In such a situation, a Super Over was played.

In the Super Over, Delhi Challengers could not score any runs after losing two wickets and Mewar Tourism won the match by scoring six runs.

The final will be played at the Field Club ground on Sunday.
