OnePlus will introduce the new OnePlus Open Apex Edition model on August 7th. The new version comes in a crimson color with a faux leather finish and, according to the latest teaser, introduces a new VIP mode.
In a new X post, OnePlus shared the so-called VIP mode of the Apex version. As the name suggests, this is a privacy-focused mode that could be similar to Oppo’s VIP mode on the Find N3 and Find X7 Ultra.
Privacy features allow users to turn off their camera, microphone, and location with a simple swipe of a slider. Of course, VIP mode could come with more features, but OnePlus hasn’t talked much about it yet.
VIP Mode will start with the Apex version, but we believe OnePlus will bring the feature to other OnePlus Open devices as well.
