Nine Police Inspectors Face Compulsory Retirement, File Sent to DOP

Jaipur : The Home Department has approved the compulsory retirement of nine police inspectors. The file has now been sent to the DOP (Department of Personnel). The DOP will make the final decision. After the DOP’s decision, these inspectors will be retired.

A few days ago, the police headquarters had prepared a proposal to grant compulsory retirement to nine inspectors and sent it to the Home Department. A meeting was held in the Home Department on Monday. The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary Law, ACS Home, DGP, and other officials. DGP U.R. Rao said that in the meeting, feedback was taken on the performance of the police inspectors. A committee had also been formed, which monitored the unfit inspectors based on police standards. Questions were raised about the work performance of some inspectors.
