Jaipur, January 2 (Udaipur Kiran): In a significant initiative dedicated to the welfare of ex-servicemen, Military Hospital, Jaipur will organise its first-ever Mega Medical Camp exclusively for veterans on January 5 and 6, 2026. The camp is being held as a prelude to the upcoming Army Day celebrations and aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services under one roof.

The two-day medical camp will focus primarily on Bone and Joint Wellness and Comprehensive Cardiac Care, offering specialised medical consultations and diagnostic services free of cost. The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment towards the well-being and welfare of its veterans.
The camp will feature a wide range of facilities, including on-the-spot X-ray services, Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing, and expert consultations by renowned orthopaedic surgeons and cardiologists from both military and leading civilian hospitals. Facilities for ECG, ECHO tests, and free distribution of prescribed medicines will also be available to beneficiaries.
Designed as a tribute to the service and sacrifice of veterans, the initiative aims to provide holistic and accessible healthcare while reaffirming the Army’s enduring bond with its retired personnel.
The Mega Medical Camp also marks the beginning of a series of events leading up to the 78th Army Day celebrations on January 15, 2026. As part of these celebrations, the Know Your Army Mela will be held at Bhawani Niketan from January 8 to 12, followed by the Army Day Parade and Shaurya Sandhya at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on January 15.
