UDAIPUR, June 21, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : The three-day MDS MUN 2026 hosted at the Pratap Nagar campus of MDS Public School concluded with enthusiasm, achievements and recognition. The closing ceremony was attended by school founder R.C. Somani and Pushpa Somani, chief guest Rishi Raj Sharma, and Yatish Goyal, Head of the Pre-Foundation Division at Radiant Academy. School administrators, teachers, parents and students were also present in large numbers.

Around 200 young delegates participated in various committees during the three-day conference, discussing national and international issues while demonstrating their analytical abilities, leadership skills and diplomatic understanding. Participants assumed the roles of world leaders, diplomats and policymakers to deliberate on contemporary global challenges and present possible solutions.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Rishi Raj Sharma said that platforms such as MUN provide students not only with academic knowledge but also with leadership, communication and decision-making skills. Appreciating the participants’ presentations, confidence and understanding of global issues, he said that today’s youth are the responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
School founder R.C. Somani said that the objective of MDS MUN is to connect students with global thinking, democratic values and effective communication skills. Congratulating all participants, he said that such events play an important role in personality development and prepare students for future challenges.
Yatish Goyal said that MUN provides students with an opportunity to understand real-world global situations, develop logical thinking and acquire effective leadership skills. He appreciated the enthusiasm and research-based presentations of the participants and said that such platforms play a significant role in preparing youth for future challenges.
Pushpa Somani praised the active participation of students and said that events like MUN strengthen confidence, teamwork and a sense of responsibility among young people.
During the ceremony, delegates and teams that delivered outstanding performances in various committees were honoured. Awards were presented in different categories, including Best Delegate, Outstanding Speaker and Best Committee Performance. The auditorium echoed with applause as the winners were announced.
At the end of the programme, the organising committee expressed gratitude to all guests, participants, teachers and volunteers. The three-day MDS MUN 2026 provided students with a unique opportunity to develop a global perspective, leadership qualities and diplomatic understanding, establishing itself as a successful and inspiring academic event.
