Aurangabad, Mar 1 : Maharastra’s Marathwada region recorded 33 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, health authorities said. The region also reported two deaths due to the infection in the past 24 hours. As per the authorities,Beed district was the worst hit with 11 new cases followed by Aurangabad district which recorded seven fresh cases while Latur district had five new cases and one death, Osmanabad had four cases, Jalna three cases, Parbhani and Nanded had single case. Hingoli district no one positive case was reported, they further said. Maharshtra recorded 407 fresh cases of Covid-19, four more related deaths. Nearly, 967 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 6,663 active cases in the state while no fresh case of Omicron was reported since Monday, the authorities added. VKB JNA
