Noida, May 12, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — A man was arrested in Noida after a video allegedly showing him spitting while preparing pizza went viral on social media.

The incident was reported from a shop in Sector-22, Chaura village area, where the accused, identified as Muzammil, had reportedly been running a pizza outlet for the past four years.
According to the complaint, members of Hindu Raksha Dal reached the shop after receiving information from staff members working there. They alleged that the accused used to spit while preparing pizza bases when alone at the shop.
After checking CCTV footage with the help of staff members, the group claimed that the act was visible in the recordings. When confronted, the accused allegedly tried to defend himself by claiming that he was only blowing air and not spitting.
A dispute broke out at the shop on Sunday evening, following which local residents informed the police. Officials from Sector-24 Police Station reached the spot and took the accused into custody.
Police said the accused has been arrested based on the complaint received in the matter.
Meanwhile, a one-minute and 22-second CCTV video linked to the incident has been circulating widely on social media. The video allegedly shows the accused preparing multiple pizzas during the incident.
Another video circulating online reportedly shows members of Hindu Raksha Dal holding the accused and speaking about the incident in front of local residents.
Police said further action is being taken as per the complaint and available evidence.
