Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 7 : Maharashtra has recorded 108 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, a health department said here on Thursday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,74,690and the death toll has gone up to 1,47,800. Meanwhile,106 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,26,025. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 865 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. While in Marathwada region of State reported only five positive cases including two each in Beed and Jalna district and alone in Aurangabad district. Rest of five districts no one positive case was reported, the bulletin further added. VKB GNK
